Esperance Stonehenge left me awestruck with its colossal granite structures. The sheer size of the stones creates a mesmerizing atmosphere, reminiscent of the iconic Stonehenge. The staff's introduction added an extra layer of wonder, providing fascinating insights into the history and significance of this remarkable site. A must-visit for anyone intrigued by ancient mysteries.
Only 15 mins from Esperance, this is probably the biggest reason why we came to this small town. After visiting this replica of the Stonehenge in the UK, I must say we were not disappointed. The structure was massive and put us all in awe. It was so well engineered to the original including the arrangement of every single piece of the stones. To top it up, the staff was friendly and took the time to explain to us how this replica came about. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Esperance.
Wow! What an awesome replica! Is nice how you are able to get up close and walk around. You can’t do that with the real thing. We went in the morning and mostly had the place to ourselves.
Amazing to see a full replica. They have the history of how they built it. 22nd or 23rd December is best for the perfect sunrise/sunset shots related to the position of the stones.
Second visit to this beauty and it only gets better
Sensational place well managed maintained and perfectly clean and tidy
It really is fantastic this beautiful replica is on our state and centre metre perfect
Who needs to go to England to see this Gem we have it here just around the corner
To the dedicated staff well done and thank you for providing us with the detail
Cheers
Worth a look friends
I thought this would be a cool place to visit seeing as my husband and I drove past it so many times while we were in Esperance.
The actual Stonehenge replica definitely exceeded my expectations when we were standing right in front of it and walking around it. From the road it looks a bit 'fake' or 'plastic'. But that is definitely not the case when standing right in front of it. The pink granite (if I remember correctly) is amazing and definitely very solid.
I was a little bit disappointed in the price, $14 per person seems a bit expensive to me. My husband and I have paid $10 for both of us to literally tour a Cathedral for an hour and go into the underground rooms. And we have done other amazing things for way less than $28 for the two of us.
As for the customer service, the gentleman and the lady that was there were okay, not super friendly. We got a little talk from the lady about the history of the Stonehenge but she didn't seem too happy to do it. Maybe because she has to do it multiple times a day?
Overall, it was a good experience, and I understand the rising cost of living, but I would recommend charging per car, or per family or something like that.
Well worth the visit whilst in Esperance to see this full sized replica of how Stonhenge would've looked 4,000 years ago. This version is made of pink granite and you're able to have full access in and around it.
Shout out to Sue, who was lovely. Both she and the rocks made this experience enjoyable.
My gripe is with the owners who set the pricey $14 entry fee per person and charge an additional (and wildly absurd) $25 to take drone footage. Don't you think that's a little greedy?
